>Lunch and Good Bye Bali..
>We reached at …. errr…forgotten the name of the place….it’s a restaurant with swimming pool at the back yard…

Without having order my food first….I went around the restaurant to take some pictures….one of my favorite discovery was this….

Normally this type of pizza won’t be thick hence not heavy at all…it’s a good choice….but I didn’t order it….
For my lunch…I simply order this…

It came together with rice…and the portion was big…
Ser tried the Balinese mixed rice….but this mixed rice came in pre-selected dishes on the serving…

As for Mandy…I had mentioned earlier…she’s a vegetarian…so a vegetarian fried bi hoon for her…

Our tour guide also joined us for lunch…and he had this…

It’s almost special in Indonesia….where by most of the restaurant serve this beverage….Avocado juice…

It’s the avocado fruit blended and mixed with chocolates…the taste was good..
Since it’s our last day in Bali…and Ubud is a place where we planned to visit initially…hence we thought that we must keep this and make it happen…so here we go before we went to the airport….

Ubud doesn’t has anything eye catchy for this short round of visit except this mysterious looks shop….

It looks like a witch house to me…LoL!!!
We walk around at Ubud’s market for about 1 hour and then we left cause the time doesn’t allowed any more longer stay as we need to catch for our flight back to Kuala Lumpur. (There’s no more photos after this as we were too busy to get to the airport….)
So…this round of Bali’s visit doesn’t has a conclusion yet as I don’t have more time to stay and visit more places…I told my…I shall visit Bali for another round to complete what is yet to be completed….I’ll be back…..

>Bali Bomb’s Memorial
>The next day morning…after taking our breakfast at the hotel…we decided to have a short walk around Kuta before we left to Ubud for our final destination in Bali.
For those who still remember the 2005 Bali Bomb incident….the deadliest and horrific tourism attacked…this is the place…Jalan Legian, Kuta…

The wall there listed all the victims name consists of all sacrificed nation and one of the country with most victims was Australia….our hotel stay was just behind this place…less than 5 minutes walk. (To those who sacrificed…RIP)
Turning to the opposite….I got this view…

I snapped this using the Sony Alpha DRO level +5, creating a almost HDR feel alike…

I kinda like the architecture of the the building there….the uniqueness they still able to preserve….and please…please…let it be…upkeep it….maintain it…it’s Bali’s treasures…
At about 11 am…the tour guide were ready to pick us up and here we come Ubud!!! But before we reach there….there’s some interesting place along the way…so we just might as well stop by to have a look…
So..where is this place…

It doesn’t looks like a shop to me…look at the back yard…..what do you think…

This is a Batik shop at Galoh, Batubulan…the back yard is big as what you can see from the pic itself…

Okay…lets fast forward a bit…here we stop at another happening place, Sukawati…a bazaar where mostly the local people will hang around and buy/sell cheap cheap stuff….

Now what are you waiting for…???

Lets start some shopping….(we managed to buy a couple of items which we think it’s super duper cheap….)….and nini nene….buy here and there…
Time tick-tac tick-tack passed…and I found someone already felt hungry….

so…lets go and makan first okay…we can continue shopping at Ubud…

Next…the tour guide brought us here…a very nice place to have our lunch….

>Coffee Bin Goa Gajah
>On the way downhill back to Kuta….the tour guide stop by at farm house at the roadside…wondering what was inside(because it looks like a normal fruit farm with not much attraction)…and since we mentioned wanted to have some coffee after lunch…and so we’re here for this……

Pick your choice…it’s free for testing….

I had this…it is the Arabica, Balinese coffee which they labeled it as strong coffee…with the cinnamon stick, it’s a plus for the taste…

This is the place they use to process the coffee bean…very simply with not much tools…and yet the coffee still taste good…
I won’t say it’s a must try item….but why not just give it a punch…maybe you will like it… ^_^
After the testing session…we proceed to buy some coffee powder. Then…we all moved on back to Kuta..
Along the way back….we think that’s still early and asked the tour guide whether there’s any other interesting place to drop by before we reach Kuta….and so…he had brought us to this place….

An Indian Temple and also a Buddhist Temple sitting next to each other…..and the place is Goa Gajah. There’s a cave where there’s 2 praying figures were located in it….

On that day itself…it was the Kuningan celebration…and it’s equivalent to X’Mas for the Balinese….and so for…we came across their prayer time….

Then we walked further down…where the Buddhist Temple located….

All the stone craft Buddha were not in order and it’s due to an earth quake strike this place before…

We go round the place for a short while and then return to the car and back we went to Kuta….
>Volcano Lunch
>After checked-out from Nusa Dua, we head to Kuta where we’re going to spend a night stay there. Initially the hotel that I booked from the internet was Samsara but according to the receptionist…she told me that they were having some problems with the toilet there…hence they’d arranged another hotel for us…so no worry….everything was under controlled….
Then we head to this hotel to check-in our luggage.

Not wasting anytime…we quickly and simply pick a tour guide from the roadside and arranged our one day tour. We managed to secure one tour guide costing Rp.400,000 per day. So…here we go!!!
The first most wanted to go place was to see the very famous volcano…Mt. Batur…

The moment we reached there was quite late and we’re hungry…so…lets eat first…

The soup did reliefs me a bit as the weather was quite windy and it really chills….

Mandy ordered this special vegetarian fried rice…(o yea…she’s a vegetarian…) and I had buffet (again) for lunch…..

After filling up our hungry stomach…..it’s camho time…

Thanks to Mandy for being so considerate…offering to take photo for me….weee!!!
Sitting next to the volcano is the Lake Batur…very beautiful and touching scenic view…

After enjoying this scenic view….we then proceed to drink coffee…yes…it’s coffee…. I’ll show you more on tomorrow’s posting….

>Harlow Nusa Dua
>I almost can’t wake up the next morning as we need to check out earlier leaving to Kuta. I always had one thing in my mind that I must do before we left….cause I probably won’t know when is the next time to visit……..Nusa Dua…
So…after my quick breakfast….I quickly grab my camera bag and head to the beach…

Isn’t it nice….

Although with the scorching sunlight…but still i can sense the beauty of the paradise….

You just can’t simply find one being this dramatic….
and you can rest your mind here for couple of months…

So…by now you should know why I die die must visit the beach before I left the place….hehehe…no regret! I’m loving it! What say you…..

>Hard Rock Bali Jump…
>After visiting Tanah Lot for its beautiful sunset….we then moved on to makan at Kuta town.
We had our dinner at a Chinese Restaurant, because most of them can’t take it no more Balinese food…ahahaha….
I didn’t take any photos as my stomach was complaining furiously…..no mood to take photo at that moment…
After the dinner…we then went for a walk around Kuta town. We suddenly felt that we wanted to pay Hard Rock a visit….lets go..
I did buy a t-shirt from Hard Rock Hotel….and after that…I wanted to take a photo with the shop….and voila….

Then….we walked to the other side of the street which facing the beautiful Kuta Beach….and now only we knew that…Hard Rock Cafe was here…and the main entrance to Hard Rock Hotel was here too….and all of us got excited the moment we saw the giant surf board…..

Before we moved on….i want to pose with the giant surf board first…

I tried another attempt….I jumped differently….

So…which one do you think more work out?
The night was still young and we wanted to have a drink nearby first….

Drinking in Bali reminds me that we should drink alcoholic drink rather than apple juice…and it’s simply because all the alcoholic drinks are much more cheaper…
After drinking…chit chatting…playing little games…we then head back to the hotel to have a good rest to make sure we were all fully charged for the next whole day run down….
