Fukuya
On the first Saturday of March, I had a food outing with a friend known not long ago. It’s coincidence that my friend had almost similar interest that I had and which was loving food and the best part is that, love to takes photographs of our food.
So here we go, decided to try out an authentic Japanese cuisine, Fukuya. It’s located at Jalan Delima which was near by Jalan Bukit Bintang. It’s not that difficult to locate this restaurant which was surrounded by the urban scape of Kuala Lumpur.
>Chocolate Kura
>Somewhere in last month, I was in One Utama planning to have lunch there at Kura, a Japs restaurant located in One World Hotel. By the I reached Kura, it’s already passed lunch hour and they only serve again during dinner time.
So to no choice, I got to look for something else to fill into my stomach before I can go to Kura again in the next 2 hours…
I had never tried this before but want to try something different since I’m a fan of Chocolate….here I’m at Chocolate Lounge!

>Yuzu, Gardens Mall
>It was my birthday and I went to Yuzu, a Japanese Restaurant in Gardens Mall, Mid Valley together with my sister. Haven’t try this before, so, lets hit it!
We ordered very few items only…and found that not cheap though…but still consider okay cause it was my Birthday…must treat myself better on this day compare to the 364 days….^____^”
Haven’t tried this before….Chawanmushi with Unagi…

>Hajime
>Hajime is a Japanese Cuisine Restaurant located at Jalan Damai, behind Jalan Ampang. I don’t know how to guide you there exactly, as it’s quite hidden out there….but I do know that it’s behind Empire Tower, or we know it as Crown Princess, opposite of Ampang Park. Later you’ll learn how it looks like externally.

Here is how it looks…it’s a bungalow house converted into a restaurant. A very nice place to dine in with very nice ambiance and settings…which are capable of giving you some home style feel.
I went there together with my sis and CK in the beginning of December…can’t recall when it’s exactly…so…guess no one really cares much lar…lol. So lets get in and feel some nice ambiance…

This is roughly how it looks inside it…wanna have an in depth…you may try to visit…:P

We were welcome by this…some sort of maki I guess…

Because of CK was late that night…we ordered some appetizers to fill our starving stomach first….

This one as well….
When CK arrived….we started to order these sort of sushi and shashimi….

The food was good…but somehow…I don’t know how to rate Japanese food for this moment….why? I guess I must be having Japanese food too frequent…sigh…(I know…must jaga dompet mar)
So after filling our stomach….we then took some photos together…and here is one of it…

The total bill was damn expensive…and I ain’t gonna tell you how much…you go and try it out and you’ll know….ahahaha….

>UMAI-YA…
>You might have noticed that in this posting, the tool’s banner had change. It’s not saying that I’ve changed camera…it’s an old camera of mine instead…it was way before I got my hand into DSLR. Sometimes I do bring this compact digital camera along with me more frequent as it is very easy to carry to anywhere…anytime.
So…back to the topic…and as the title suggest…

I went to Umaiya to had dinner on last Friday with my sister and a special guess appearance…and she’s Ally
Umaiya is a Japanese restaurant located at Damansara Uptown and Damansara Perdana.
So…lets start with the food can?!

We started off with these full serve of Shashimi….damn fresh can!
Next…one of my favourite…

It was rolled with prawns and topped with avocado…
Then we also had this…

Okay…the following tempura was so so only…but still somehow better than others in a way that the crispy flour was so thin so that you don’t have to crunch a big bite of the flour…..

My sister won’t miss to order this….

It was nice….but I only ate one piece nia…(Where are the rest???) LoL!!!

Here we had a serious bite of sushi…and it was brilliant to use little rice on each sushi….(the standard sushi consists of at least ten types of sushi)…at this rate….we’re almost full….
But it’s just almost…not even close….so we continue to add-on

and this as well

The beef maki was really nice…..and you better assure that you don’t miss it…
Still not enough…??? Okay..then order desserts lor…

Why it’s free??? Because they made a mistake on the order and happen that Ally already ate almost half of it when they finally discovered it…LoL!!!
This was the actual order though….

So different…..looks nice…taste good too….

This was the last thing we ate…and we really can eat no more…so…bill please….
Total damaged was RM319.70 inclusive of everything. Supposedly, we should be able to get a 50% discount off the total bill but with the condition we must spend RM300 and above excluding dessert plus presenting a RM150 offer voucher which we had one. Nevermind lar….I got an excuse to dine in there another round…save it for next time lar….
Note: Make sure you make your reservation before you go…coz…it’s damn lotsa people during weekends. So, here are the contacts for both outlets…
